Twitter has gone down leaving thousands of UK users without connection via the website and mobile app.
More than 4,500 reports of problems have been logged since issues began at around 1pm on Monday, according to the service status website Down Detector.
Some reported being unable to access the platform over broadband but could do so using mobile data.
While others said they could not load or refresh the site on their desktop PC browser.
Several users managed to access twitter to voice their frustration at the outage.
One person said: "I can't load Twitter at all. I have tried on my phone and desktop. It's clearly having issues. I'm in the south east of England."
Another said: "How is Twitter not working with my broadband, but works perfectly fine with my mobile data, and yet my broadband is having no issues with any other site or service?"
A third joked: "Twitter just went down and I had no where to complain about Twitter going down."
The social media giant has not yet commented on the issue or confirmed any cause for the reported problems.
Twitter's own service status platform also showed no reported issues affecting the site on Monday afternoon.
Problems were spotted with loading Twitter feeds on desktop computers while this function worked fine on mobile.
Around a third of reported issues were connected to the app while another 31 per cent were linked to the website.
The reported Twitter issues come on a busy day for the social networking site where users have been sharing their reactions to a controversial Oscars 2022 ceremony.
Will Smith took to the stage at the Hollywood event and slapped Chris Rock who made a joke about the actor's wife Jada Pinkett suffering hair loss.
