Twitter down as thousands of users report outages

Twitter Inc. Down Detector

Twitter users have reported problems with their services.

According to Down Detector, over 4,000 people have logged issues with the social media platform since 1pm.

Users have flooded comments on Down Detector to report issues with both the website and the app.

Tony said: "West Lancs/Merseyside UK. Website not loading ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT"

Pete added: "I can't load twitter at all! I have tried on my phone and desktop. It's clearly having issues. I'm in the South east of England"

Tabitha posted: "Twitter website is not loading on my phone, all other sites fine on my phone."

@tlitb commented: "Seems down in UK for me"
