Succession

9pm, Sky Atlantic

At home or abroad, a Roy family wedding is always a lavish and enjoyable occasion – except, of course, for the waiters. Now it’s the turn of Logan’s sidelined first son Connor (Alan Ruck) to tie the knot, but will anyone actually turn up to celebrate? Even bride Willa (Justine Lupe) looks like a possible no-show. It’s promising to be the episode of the season. Ellen E Jones

Between the Covers

7pm, BBC Two

As Sara Cox chairs another light literary salon, Hungry Ghosts by Kevin Jared Hosein prompts a spirited, divided debate between Nick Knowles, Ore Oduba, Sara Barron and – providing a cocktail to match her fellow panellists’ favourite books – Saturday Kitchen drinks expert Helen McGinn. The celebrities’ choices range from Jackie Collins to Anthony Burgess. Jack Seale

Blue Lights

9pm, BBC One

After an appointment is set up for the “punishment shooting” of 15-year-old JP, a determined (or should that be “totally naive”?) Grace (Sian Brooke) thinks she can convince his family to make a statement against the McIntyres. Meanwhile, the “peelers” are called in to deal with a half-naked man on a Belfast sightseeing bus. Ross Kemp: Deep Sea Treasure Hunter

9pm, Sky History

Having grown weary of venturing into war zones, intrepid explorer Kemp is now scanning the ocean floor for his thrills. This opening episode sees him plunging into the former underwater domain of the Mary Rose to see if any bonus shipwrecked detritus remains. He’s also exploring D-day wreckage off the Cornish coast. Phil Harrison

Secrets of the Chippendales Murders

9pm, BBC Two

The tale of the dark, troubling underbelly around the 90s’ most famous male strip troupe isn’t new, given the recent Disney+ series and a hit podcast about it. But the third episode of this archive footage-packed series of talking heads sees the NYPD following up multiple leads and various motives in the murder of Nick De Noia. Alexi Duggins

The Sky at Night

10pm, BBC Four

The hunt for extraterrestrial life is on in this week’s episode of the astronomy series. After journeying to Mars via the Perseverance rover to look at rock samples, the team investigate the habitability of Jupiter’s icy moons, and learn how reflected light might be the secret to discovering life on exoplanets. The Graduate (Mike Nichols, 1967), 10.35pm, BBC Two
“It’s a little secret, just the Robinsons’ affair.” The music of Simon & Garfunkel adds a flourish to Mike Nichols’s often downbeat 1967 comedy-drama. Dustin Hoffman’s Ben, disaffected and unfocused after college, begins an adulterous fling with Mrs Robinson (Anne Bancroft), the wife of his father’s colleague, but then falls for her daughter Elaine (Katharine Ross). Tapping into middle-class hypocrisy and the disaffections of 60s youth, it’s a time capsule – but a fun one. Simon Wardell
