A new money-challenge show that is a bit like The Apprentice, but with Sue Perkins instead of Alan Sugar, The Vault instead of the boardroom and far more likable contestants. Each week, the pairs are given a sum of money and they need to double it within 36 hours, or they will be eliminated from the competition. They start this week with £250, and some cash-making ideas include a pub quiz, Nigerian punch mocktails, scotch eggs and fortune-telling. Hollie Richardson

As this slight but cheerful crimefighting comedy drama starring Johnny Vegas and Sian Gibson concludes, Terry and Gemma’s professional relationship has hit a rough patch and Gemma is striking out alone. However, an encounter with an old friend of Terry suggests the pair are now in danger. Can they bring themselves to join forces once again? Phil Harrison

That’s the challenge facing Joanne McNally, amid another round of utterly ludicrous demands, which also includes Alex Horne having the name of a body part being repeatedly shouted in his face by Sophie Willan. The haunting adaptation of Heather Morris’s bestselling book continues, and young Lali is working out how best to play Nazi officer Stefan to his advantage in trying to make contact with Gita. In the present day, we see that older Lali’s memories are riddled with trauma as he retells his story. HR

Joe & Katherine’s Bargain Holidays

10pm, Channel 4
Joe Wilkinson and Katherine Ryan explore more cut-price vacations for the rising-cost-of-living era. This week, a very affordable break in the birthplace of Mikhail Baryshnikov and Sergei Eisenstein – Riga, in Latvia, where they watch an opera, ride an old-fashioned tram and venture beyond the city for a hair-raising bobsleigh ride.
