A double bill starts with the Enfield poltergeist, which – despite having had a few televised retellings in the last 12 months – is always a spine-tingling tale. In the concluding week of this jewel thief drama (the finale is on Monday at 9pm), the world of diamonds turns into a big bag of coal for Joan (Sophie Turner): an IRA attack, a prison beating and a potential further 10 years behind bars. And yet, she’s making plans for one more heist. HR

By the penultimate episode, the 15 celebrities, including wrestler Anthony Ogogo and presenter Cherry Healey, have been whittled down to seven exhausted husks, forced to carry heavy ammunition and equipment over punishing terrain. The Poisoning: How to Kill Your Husband

There’s something nasty in the spag bol, and that’s just the first course of villainy served up by a Yorkshire wife in this true-crime documentary. The story is told via interviews with the victim’s loved ones, plus home videos and family photos, making for an unusually insightful example of the genre. Ellen E Jones
