Crystal Palace’s FA Cup fifth-round tie against Stoke City at Selhurst Park will take place on Tuesday March 1, the FA have confirmed.
The game will kick-off at 7.30pm and will be broadcast live via BBC iPlayer and on the BBC’s Red Button, with Patrick Vieira's side hoping to reach the quarter-finals of the competition for the second time in the last four years.
The Eagles were runners-up in the FA Cup in 2016 when they lost 2-1 to Manchester United at Wembley in extra-time, but last reached the sixth round under Roy Hodgson in 2019 where they were eliminated by eventual finalists Watford.
They will be hoping to at least match that run from three years ago in Patrick Vieira's first season in charge of the club, though will first have to beat a confident Stoke side.
The Potters are currently 11th in the Championship but are only four points away from the play-offs, with a game in hand over sixth-placed Nottingham Forest.
Michael O’Neil’s side are also yet to concede a goal in the FA Cup this season, having overcome League Two side Leyton Orient 2-0 in the third round and Wigan Athletic of League One 2-0 in the fourth round.
Both of those matches took place at the bet365 Stadium however, with Stoke’s trip to south London a more daunting prospect than their previous two ties.
Before then, Palace have four important Premier League games to focus on, with the Eagles currently 13th in the table following their 1-1 draw against Norwich at Carrow Road on Wednesday night.
Vieira takes his side to Griffin Park to play Brentford on Saturday before hosting title-pushers Chelsea at Selhurst Park on February 19.
Palace’s rescheduled clash against Watford is then set for Wednesday February 23 before they close the month out with a home match against Burnley three days later on February 26.
