Turtle Bay are giving away free jerk chicken wings, beer and cocktails at MediaCity ahead of their Salford Quays opening. The Caribbean restaurant and bar will be at the MediaCity piazza on Friday, August 12 ahead of their official opening the following week.
The restaurant will be bringing the beachside summer vibes to Salford with a huge BBQ, giving away free food and drink to celebrate the launch of its latest chain.
Residents and workers will be able to get their hands on samples of jerk chicken wings, its famous Reggae Rum Punch and Red Stripe beer tomorrow during certain times.

To get their hands on the free samples, Turtle Bay fans simply need to head to the piazza and follow the scents of the BBQ. The team will be offering up island-inspired treats on the house during two sessions, between 12pm to 2pm and again at 4.30pm to 6.30pm - but once they’re gone, they’re gone.
Famous for its tropical cocktails and late night happy hour, Turtle Bay is set to open the doors of the new Salford Quays restaurant on Friday, August 19. A new cocktail range will be exclusively launching at the branch in the coming weeks before they land in any other restaurants around the country.
Open for both reservations and walk-ins, Turtle Bay will welcome fans from breakfast through to the small hours.
From September, Turtle Bay’s Bottomless Brunch will be running every single day from 10am, which comprises any breakfast, brunch, burger or roti roll, with free-flowing prosecco, draught Red Stripe, Brixton Pale Ale or juices for £31.50. The two-hour session sees unlimited tropical cocktails, mocktails, Red Stripe or prosecco while listening to laid back reggae music.
At the new Salford branch, there will also be a cocktail happy hour, with two for one rum-based cocktails every day. The Happy Hour runs from 10am-7pm every day, with the Late Happy Hour from 9:30pm Sunday-Thursday and from 10pm Friday and Saturday.
