A trip to Turkey is next up for Wales as they look to get their Euro 2024 qualification bid back on track.
Robert Page’s men were stunned on Friday night when beaten 4-2 by Armenia in Cardiff, a defeat which derailed what had been a strong start to their quest to make next summer’s tournament in Germany.
Turkey have hardly found things much easier and they were forced to respond to conceding a late leveller in Latvia last time out, which they did with an even-later Irfan Kahveci winner.
They therefore top Group D, an honour Wales can take for themselves with the victory in Istanbul.
