Turkey has announced plans to open its Yayladagi border gate with Syria to facilitate the safe and voluntary return of Syrian migrants, as stated by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday. Currently, Turkey is home to approximately 2.9 million Syrian refugees, according to Erdogan's remarks following a cabinet meeting. The president emphasized Turkey's commitment to supporting Syria in its reconstruction efforts.
