Former Democratic congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard has expressed her willingness to serve in a potential Trump administration, stating that she would be honored to do so. Gabbard, a military veteran with two tours in the Middle East and a current lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves, highlighted her interest in making a significant impact in areas related to foreign policy and national security.

During a campaign fundraising event in Atlanta, Georgia, Gabbard emphasized her commitment to addressing issues such as ending the influence of the military-industrial complex, preventing World War III, and steering the U.S. away from the brink of nuclear war. She stressed that war should be a last resort and expressed support for former President Trump's efforts to end the war in Ukraine.

Gabbard, who previously served as the vice chair of the Democratic National Committee and supported candidates like Sen. Bernie Sanders and President Biden, cited a shift within the Democratic Party as a reason for her increasing alignment with the GOP. She noted that many individuals, including former Democrats, share her concerns about the current direction of the Democratic Party.

Furthermore, Gabbard criticized Democrats, including Vice President Kamala Harris, for their alleged reluctance to engage in diplomacy with U.S. adversaries. She commended President Trump for his diplomatic efforts and urged leaders to prioritize dialogue with adversaries to avoid the risk of nuclear war and global conflict.

Gabbard's outspoken stance against what she perceives as potential threats to global peace under a Harris administration underscores her advocacy for diplomatic solutions and her belief in the importance of engaging with adversaries to prevent escalation of conflicts.
