Tui has issued an important warning to holidaymakers who are set to jet off in the coming months.
Many holidaymakers have seen extended waiting times and huge queues recently, caused in part by staff shortages in many of the UK's airports.
This has led to some travellers arriving much earlier than they usually would to beat the queues - but the airline has warned that this only adds to the issue.
The airline urged passengers to arrive in good time, but to avoid getting to the airport with several hours to spare.
TUI has asked customers to get to the airport between two and a half and three and a half hours depending on your flight length, Glasgow Live reports.
In a statement on its website, TUI said: "We’d like to remind customers not to arrive at the airport too far in advance of their flight, as this can contribute to terminal queueing delays.
"Standard check-in opens at least two and a half hours before departure time for short and mid-haul flights, and at least three and a half hours before departure for long-haul flights.
"At some airports, we are able to offer day before bag drop and self-service bag drop. You can find more information about these services, as well as our advice for making your airport experience as smooth as possible here."
