TUI flight to Manchester Airport met by emergency crews after being forced to abort landing due to 'technical issue'

A TUI flight to Manchester Airport was met by emergency services on the runway on Monday night (November 21) after it was forced to abort its initial landing due to a 'minor technical issue'.

The flight, travelling to Manchester from Lanzarote, had to perform a go around after its initial descent to the runway following the fault. The flight path from Radarbox shows that the aircraft continued heading north after its attempted landing at the airport, before turning.

It headed over Warrington and over parts of Cheshire before successfully landing on the second attempt. Emergency services met the aircraft after its landing on the runway as part of the standard procedure.
