TUI has cancelled more flights and holidays to Sri Lanka as officials continue to advise holidaymakers not to visit the country.
The airline said that all trips to Sri Lanka up to and including July 18 will be cancelled amid an ongoing political and economic crisis in the country.
It comes as the Foreign Office continues to advise against all but essential travel to the country.

The UK Government body said that the country is going through a severe economic crisis, which has led to a shortage in basic necessities.
There has also being a string of protests a violent unrest across the country in recent months.
TUI said that it will be in contact with customers affected by the cancellations to discuss their options going forward.
A spokesperson for TUI said: “Due to the ongoing political and economic instability in Sri Lanka, the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) has advised against all but essential travel.
“As a result, we’ve unfortunately had to cancel all holiday to Sri Lanka up to and including July 18, 2022.
“We will be proactively contacting all impacted customers in departure date order to discuss their options.
“Please note this advice does not apply to customers transiting through Sri Lanka’s international airport and customers currently in resort can continue to enjoy their holiday as planned.
“We will continue to monitor this situation and update customers should there be any further updates.
“We would like to thank customers for their understanding at this time.”
