AYUTTHAYA: A steel tugboat sank in the Pa Sak River in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya district on Sunday. Nobody was hurt in the incident, an official said.
Peerathorn Naksuk, director of the marine office of Ayutthaya, said the boat sank in front of Wat Prasat temple, and his office was alerted at about noon.
Nobody was reported dead or injured as all people on board the vessel were wearing life jackets in line with the Marine Department's regulations, he said.

Officials from the marine office were investigating what caused the boat to sink, and formulating a plan to salvage it from the river bed.
