Glasgow is preparing for heavy snow later this week with a few snow showers hitting the region today.
As temperature's plummet below zero, the Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for heavy snow with Scotland expected to see the worst of it.
Starting at 3am on March 9, forecasters warn that locals should expect "heavy snow" which "has the potential to cause significant disruption" across both days with the warning settling around 6pm on Friday, March 10.

Met Office Chief Meteorologist Dan Suri said: “Snow, ice and low temperatures are the main themes of this week’s forecast, as the UK comes under the influence of an arctic maritime airmass as cold air moves in from the north.
“Snow is already falling in parts of the north where some travel disruption likely, as well as a chance of some rural communities being cut off."
There could be a few light snow showers entering the city today as the maximum temperature drops to 4C so it's best to keep wrapped up if you're heading out.
The forecast for today (March 7) reads: "A mostly dry and cold day with some good spells of sunshine. A few light snow showers are possible at times in the afternoon. Light northwest winds."
