Jimmy Bell passes away aged 69 as Rangers pay tribute to legendary long serving kitman

Rangers have been plunged into mourning following the sudden death of the club’s long-serving kitman Jimmy Bell.

The Ibrox side confirmed in a statement that Bell, who was in the dug-out at Parkhead on Sunday, passed away through the night.

The 69-year-old had been a fixture at Rangers for almost four decades after succeeding George ‘Doddie’ Soutar.

Bell gained cult status among the Rangers supporters and was regarded as a key figure through the different managerial eras in his time.

Putin 'has dementia and paranoia is driving him to insanity', ex-KGB agent says

A former KBG agent claims Vladimir Putin is suffering from early stage dementia and being driven insane by paranoia and threat of traitors.

The Russian leader's recent public appearances following his disastrous Ukraine invasion have sparked speculation about his health and fuelled rumours that he is critically ill.

However, the 69-year-old's press secretary Dmitry Peskov has insisted Putin’s health is "excellent", the Mirror reports.

The sellers are warning those queuing up to view that the cottage and island on Scarp, off Hushinish on Harris, are "not for the faint-hearted".

David Beckham says he regrets giving his son Brooklyn and daughter-in-law Nicola his hugely generous wedding present.

When billionaire heiress Nicola Peltz married David's eldest boy Brooklyn, David splashed out on a gift that the two could enjoy.

Following the wedding at Nicola's family's £76 million beach house, which reportedly cost £3 million, guests were asked to donate to a Ukraine charity to help those affected by war, but David presented the pair with an electric 1954 Jaguar.

People of State Pension age can quickly check online if they qualify for £3,300 income top-up

Last month, the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) launched a new campaign calling on people of State Pension age, their friends and family, to check eligibility for Pension Credit, a benefit which could be worth more than £3,300 each year in cash support and discounts or reductions.

Pension Credit can help to top-up the income of retired people, even if they already receive a State or private pension or have another source of income.
