Midfielder Tsoanelo Letsosa has reportedly turned down a new offer to stay at Celtic - with the starlet hoping to secure a move to England in the process.
Letsosa has been at Lennoxtown since he was 12, though at the age of just 18, he hasn't yet played for Celtic's first team. A solid season in the Lowland League where he has made 32 appearances - notching three goals and five assists along the way - has seen him become one of the academy's finest players this campaign, despite UEFA Youth League failure.
With other youngsters such as Rocco Vata and Ben Summers coming through the ranks to feature this season, the Hoops will be relatively happy with how their youth development is going. But Celtic will be dealt a blow, according to the Daily Record - with Letsosa turning down a new deal.
The report states that the 18-year-old will instead explore his options down in England when his contract expires in the summer, and has already let academy chiefs know that he will be seeking pastures new.
Luca Connell, Owen Moffat, Scott Robertson, Armstrong Oko-Flex, Leo Hjelde and Jack Aitchison have all ventured down south in terms of aiming to secure game time, with Connell and Robertson in particular shining in roles at Barnsley and Scott Brown's Fleetwood Town.
The Hoops do have some reprieve from the deal, though - Letsosa will earn Celtic a six-figure fee for their role in his development.
