A banking error has seen customers being left with emptied accounts or being overdrawn through no fault of their own. Those who have accounts with TSB have expressed their frustrations, with one customer saying it has left him ‘penniless’.
The bank has said that it is aware of the issues which have led to duplicate payments. TSB added that they were ‘working hard’ to resolve the problem.
A spokesperson for TSB said: “We’re aware that some customers are experiencing issues with duplicate payments – we’re working hard to fix this and will refund customers as soon as possible. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.”
