TSB error leaves customers in overdraft after duplicate outgoing payments

Customers have taken to social media to express their concerns after a TSB Bank error saw payments duplicated, with some customers reporting that hundreds of pounds have been taken, while others have been pushed into overdraft. The bank urged people to check their accounts after the malfunction occurred.

TSB tweeted: "We’re aware of some issues related to duplicate payments on some customers’ accounts. We’re working hard to fix these issues and will ensure customers are refunded for duplicate payments. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this has caused."

One customer was left "broke" after the bank duplicated her payment, reports North Wales Live.
