Developer Stormind Games and publisher Saber Interactive announced that A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is set to be released later this year. It's going to be available for the PC along with consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. This first person and single-player horror adventure game is based on the film series A Quiet Place.
Stormind Games shared in a statement that this upcoming title is able to capture not only the frantic terror of the franchise but also the unnerving atmosphere along with the gripping human drama that made fans love it. The game was created for those who love films, horror games, and of course, story-driven adventures. It has players follow the journey of a young woman who's struggling to survive not just the nightmarish creatures of the apocalypse but also the anguish of interpersonal family conflicts as well as her own inner fears. Players need to hurdle a lot of treacherous challenges and obstacles using only their wits and simple tools they scavenged.

A Quiet Place is a post-apocalyptic horror film released in 2018. The story revolves around a mother and father trying to raise their children while also doing what they can to survive a world that's inhabited by blind extraterrestrial creatures with an acute sense of hearing. Directed by John Krasinski, the film was both a commercial and critical success. The sequel A Quiet Place Part II was later released in 2021. A prequel titled A Quiet Place: Day One is coming out later this month.
