President-elect Donald Trump made remarks on Thursday following the US Supreme Court's ruling that he can be sentenced in his hush money case. Trump criticized Judge Juan Merchan and expressed his intention to appeal the decision.
During a press conference at Mar-a-Lago, Trump stated, 'We're going to appeal anyway, just psychologically, because frankly it's a disgrace. It's a judge that shouldn't have been on the case.' He acknowledged the court's invitation for an appeal and mentioned that he found the decision to be fair.

Trump emphasized that the legal proceedings are far from over, saying, 'This is a long way from finished. And I respect the court's opinion. It was a, I think it was actually a very good opinion for us because you saw what they said. But they invited the appeal, and the appeal is on the bigger issue.'
He expressed confidence in the outcome, stating, 'So we'll see how it all works out. I think it's going to work out well.'
The Supreme Court's ruling allows for Trump to be sentenced on Friday in connection to the hush money case. The decision has sparked further legal actions and discussions surrounding the case.
