Donald Trump to testify in New York civil fraud trial

Former President Donald Trump recently shared a letter on his social media platform from Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas, following an assassination attempt on the 2024 Republican presidential nominee. The letter, dated July 14, offered well wishes and emphasized the importance of peace and non-violence in the region.

Trump, who is scheduled to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, posted the letter on Truth Social, expressing his anticipation for the upcoming meeting and his hopes for achieving peace in the Middle East. In response to Abbas' message, Trump thanked the Palestinian leader and expressed optimism for the future.

The meeting between Trump and Netanyahu is set to take place at Mar-a-Lago on Friday, as confirmed by Trump in a recent interview. The Israeli Prime Minister had requested the meeting, indicating a continued dialogue between the two leaders regarding regional issues and potential diplomatic efforts.
