Donald Trump’s latest addition to his inner circle, Natalie Harp, has quickly become a key figure in his orbit, earning a reputation for her unwavering loyalty and dedication. Described as fitting Trump’s “type” – young, blonde, and reportedly always at his beck and call – Harp has not only gained several nicknames but also a reputation for being “unfireable.”
According to POLITICO reporter Alex Isenstadt’s new book, Revenge: The Inside Story of Trump’s Return to Power, Harp has become a notable figure within Trump’s team, earning the nickname “Fatal Attraction” from advisers. This comparison to Glenn Close’s character Alex Forrest in the 1987 film Fatal Attraction refers to Harp’s intense devotion to Trump, with her actions occasionally reflecting the obsessive nature of the character, Daily Mail report.
“Before long, Trump advisers jokingly began to compare Harp to Alex Forrest,” Isenstadt wrote, adding, “Forrest had become obsessed with a married man and, in the film’s most memorable scene, broke into his house and boiled the family’s pet rabbit.”
Additionally, Harp has earned the nickname “Human Printer” due to her tendency to fulfill various printing and communication tasks for Trump. Isenstadt detailed how Harp would print news stories for the former president, whether it was a controversial post for his Truth Social account, a flattering but questionable media piece, or news articles to be sent to Republican members of Congress.
“If Trump wanted to publish a flame-throwing post on Truth Social? Natalie was there to send it through,” Isenstadt wrote. Harp’s dedication even extended to following Trump on a golf outing at his West Palm Beach course, where she was seen carrying a wireless printer in her golf cart.
Harp’s rise to prominence within Trump’s inner circle is particularly remarkable given her background. A cancer survivor, she credits Trump’s “Right to Try” law with saving her life, and after speaking at the 2020 Republican National Convention, she joined his campaign. Isenstadt described how, despite some senior staffers wanting her gone, Harp’s position remained secure, with her loyalty and persistence making her “unfireable.”
Her commitment to Trump was exemplified when she stayed late into the night at his Mar-a-Lago estate to deliver documents, unwilling to wait until morning. As Isenstadt noted, Harp’s lack of regard for boundaries helped her embed herself deeper into Trump’s inner circle, earning her a reputation as one of his most dedicated and indispensable aides.
