Former President Donald Trump's legal team is comprised of seasoned legal professionals with extensive experience in federal prosecution and criminal defense. Todd Blanche and Emil Bove, both former federal prosecutors from New York, lead the team alongside Susan Necheles, a veteran criminal defense lawyer.

Emil Bove, who previously served as the co-chief of the national security unit at the US attorney’s office for the Southern District of New York, is recognized for his expertise in white-collar and CIPA-related litigation. According to a statement by Todd Blanche, Bove's experience and skills make him a valuable asset to Trump's legal defense.

Todd Blanche, who has a background as both a prosecutor and defense attorney at prominent law firms, has successfully handled high-profile cases. Notably, he was able to have the criminal indictment against Trump's 2016 campaign chairman Paul Manafort dismissed before trial. Blanche also achieved a favorable outcome in the case against Igor Fruman, an associate of Rudy Giuliani, who was sentenced to prison for his involvement in a scheme to funnel Russian money into US elections.

Susan Necheles, another key member of Trump's legal team, represented Trump's business in a tax fraud trial in 2022, where the company was convicted. Necheles brings a wealth of experience in criminal defense, particularly in New York courts and before Judge Juan Merchan.

In a recent development, Kendra Wharton, a skilled white-collar defense lawyer with experience practicing in Washington, DC, has joined Trump's legal team. Described as a 'brilliant lawyer' by Todd Blanche, Wharton's addition further strengthens the team's capabilities and expertise.
