Trump's Lawyers Object To Testimony On Editor's Whereabouts

During the ongoing legal proceedings involving Donald Trump, his lawyers have raised objections to the testimony provided by David Pecker regarding the whereabouts of Dylan Howard, the former editor in chief of the National Enquirer.

Prosecutor Joshua Steinglass has argued that it is relevant to introduce hearsay testimony about Howard in order to explain why he will not be able to testify at the trial.

Pecker mentioned he and Howard are not in communication.

Pecker, in his testimony, mentioned that he and Howard are no longer in communication. He further stated that Howard is currently residing in Australia and is reportedly dealing with a spinal condition that prevents him from traveling internationally.

Despite the objections raised by Trump's legal team, Judge Juan Merchan did not make a ruling on the matter during the court proceedings.
