Trump’s Golf Resort Vandalised By Pro-Palestinian Protesters: ‘Gaza Is Not 4 Sale’

Pro-Palestinian protesters have vandalised US President Donald Trump’s golf resort in Scotland over his controversial comments about “buying and owning” the Gaza strip.

Activists from Palestine Action shared photos of the vandalism on X (formerly Twitter), displaying red spray painted plastered on the golf club’s building, alongside slogans such as “Free Gaza” and “Free Palestine”.

Protesters also dug holes throughout the golf course and sprayed ‘GAZA IS NOT 4 SALE’ across the lawn. Another photo showed a damaged lamp post.

Palestine Action stated that the golf resort “got a visit” from the activist group in an X post displaying the vandalism.

“No longer can ordinary people sit by whilst the American [administration] arms Israel and makes plans to ethnically cleanse Gaza.

“Palestine belongs to Palestinians.”

The golf course, Trump Turnberry, is owned by The Trump Organisation and a spokesperson described the vandalism as “a childish, criminal act”, per BBC

Police Scotland also stated that they are investigating the incident.

Social media reactions include Reddit users describing the vandalism as “fantastic”.

“Well it’s nice to see that the pro-Palestinian people in Scotland are real and will continue to fight for Palestinians, unlike here in the states where it was just a ‘don’t vote Democrat’ pro-Trump movement ginned up just for the election,” wrote one Reddit user.

The protest was made in response to Trump’s widely condemned comments about Gaza, stating that he was “committed to buying and owning” the area and that the US should “take over” the city that is currently home for 2.23 million people.

Trump also stated that Palestinians will not have the right to return to Gaza.

“No, they wouldn’t, because they’re going to have much better housing,” Trump told Fox News in February.

“I’m talking about building a permanent place for them.”

The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, described Trump’s comments as “revolutionary and creative”.

The United Nations criticised Trump’s Gaza proposal, warning that any forced displacement is not prohibited under international law and that it is “tantamount to ethnic cleansing”.

An AI video of Trump’s proposed “Trump Gaza”, that included golden statues of the American president and Elon Musk throwing money in the air, was also heavily criticised and sparked backlash online.
