Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard shared insights from President Donald Trump's recent Cabinet meeting, highlighting the positive and energetic atmosphere that prevailed. Gabbard emphasized the sense of unity and dedication among the Cabinet members, describing them as 'great Americans' committed to serving the country and its people.
Gabbard noted the swift pace at which the team is operating, referring to it as a 'sprint mode' as they work towards ensuring safety, security, freedom, and prosperity for all Americans. She also praised the inspiration drawn from Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) within the administration.
One of the unique aspects of Trump's Cabinet, according to Gabbard, is the longstanding relationships and camaraderie among its members. She highlighted the unprecedented level of collaboration and friendship that exists within the team, which she believes sets this Cabinet apart.

Trump's second-term Cabinet has achieved several milestones, including the appointment of Gabbard as the first Pacific Islander DNI, Marco Rubio as the first Hispanic Secretary of State, and Scott Bessent as the first openly gay Republican Cabinet member. The administration has also increased the representation of women, with five already appointed and a total of eight nominated.
Despite these achievements, Gabbard expressed frustration at the lack of recognition for the diversity and inclusivity within Trump's Cabinet. She criticized the selective support for diversity initiatives, citing her own experiences of facing opposition within her former party despite being a woman of color.
