Trump Reacts To Terror Attacks, Calls For Stronger Leadership

Former U.S. President Trump departs Trump Tower in New York

President-elect Trump has expressed deep concern and frustration following two recent tragic incidents in New Orleans and Las Vegas. The first incident occurred on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, where a terror attack claimed the lives of 15 individuals. The second incident involved a cybertruck explosion outside the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas, resulting in additional casualties.

In a statement posted on his Truth Social platform, Trump criticized the state of national security in the U.S., labeling the country as a 'disaster' and a 'laughing stock all over the World.' He attributed these incidents to what he perceives as the consequences of having open borders and weak leadership.

The suspect in the Bourbon Street terror attack has been identified as Shamsud-Din Jabbar, a 42-year-old U.S. citizen and Army veteran from Texas. However, details regarding the identity and citizenship status of the suspect in the Cybertruck explosion remain unclear at this time.

Trump also directed criticism towards various government agencies, including the Justice Department, the FBI, and Democrat state and local prosecutors. He accused them of being incompetent and corrupt, alleging that they have prioritized targeting him politically over ensuring the safety of Americans.

Calling for stronger action, Trump urged the CIA to intervene before the situation worsens. He warned of a 'violent erosion of Safety, National Security, and Democracy' across the nation, emphasizing the need for robust leadership to address these challenges.

Trump concluded his statement by reaffirming his commitment to 'MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN,' signaling his intention to address these issues upon assuming office on January 20th.
