Donald Trump allegedly tried to throw an NBC journalist off a plane because he didn’t like him questioning him about Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s investigation into the hush money payments to Stormy Daniels.
The incident unfolded on 25 March as the former president was flying back from a campaign rally in Waco, Texas.
Audio, obtained by The Washington Post, reveals NBC News reporter Vaughn Hillyard about Mr Trump about the Manhattan DA’s probe.
Mr Trump grew irate calling the reporter “not a nice guy” before telling his team to “get him out of here”.
The report comes as E Jean Carroll’s civil rape trial against the former president continues.
On Tuesday, fellow accuser Jessica Leeds testified that Mr Trump sexually assaulted her during a flight in the late 1970s.
“It was like he had forty zillion hands. He put his hand up my skirt,” she said.
Mr Trump’s lawyer confirmed to the court that the former president will not testify in the trial.
Instead, Mr Trump plans to sit down for an interview with far-right former UK politician Nigel Farage at 2pm ET (7pm UK time) on Wednesday.
