During the rally, Trump explained his stance to the Tucson crowd, stating, 'Because we’ve done two debates and because they were successful, there will be no third debate. It’s too late anyway, the voting’s already begun.'
On the other hand, Harris' campaign had previously called for another debate. She emphasized this during a rally in Charlotte, asserting, 'I believe we owe it to the voters to have another debate because this election and what is at stake could not be more important.'
