Trump Criticizes Harris On Economy And Immigration At Georgia Rally

Republican presidential candidate and former U.S. President Donald Trump holds rally in Richmond

Former President Donald Trump criticized Vice President Kamala Harris on the economy and immigration at a Georgia rally, capping a three-state blitz Sunday as he looks to solidify his base in battleground states two days ahead of Election Day.

Starting the day with a stop in Pennsylvania, Trump's rhetoric was described as dark. He continued his rally in North Carolina and ended the day in Macon, Georgia, where the crowd was larger and more energized. Trump wore a black cap with yellow MAGA letters that cast a shadow on his face.

He argued that Harris would struggle with Arab and Muslim voters in Michigan.

Trump argued that Harris would struggle with Arab and Muslim voters in Michigan due to her association with former Republican Rep. Liz Cheney. He criticized Liz Cheney for her stance on military actions and implied that the Biden administration was leading the country towards another Great Depression.

Trump stated, 'These are Depression-type numbers, 1929 Depression-type numbers. And I never wanted to be, I always told people, I would have hated to be the president of the United States in 1929 when you had the Great Depression.'

While many voters express dissatisfaction with the state of the economy, a recent Commerce Department report suggested that it is robust.
