Trump Considers Robert F. Kennedy Jr. For Vaccine Investigation Panel

Donald Trump New York Young Republican Club's 111th Annual Gala

Former President Donald Trump recently made statements indicating his support for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to investigate vaccines if Trump is reelected. Speaking at the Tucker Carlson Live Tour in Glendale, Arizona, Trump mentioned that Kennedy is interested in examining vaccines along with other topics such as pesticides.

Trump expressed his approval of Kennedy's desire to delve into health-related issues, stating that he believes Kennedy is correct in many of the things he discusses. This comes despite Kennedy's history of promoting debunked vaccine conspiracy theories in the United States.

Notably, Trump had previously hinted at the possibility of appointing Kennedy to a role in a potential second administration. Following Kennedy's endorsement in August, Trump committed to including him on a panel that would investigate the increase in chronic diseases diagnoses if he were to return to the White House.

During an event in Nevada, Trump mentioned that Kennedy would focus on health and women's health if he were reelected. Additionally, the co-chair of the Trump-Vance transition team endorsed vaccine conspiracy theories advocated by Kennedy, suggesting that Kennedy would be granted access to federal data to assess vaccine safety under a Trump administration.

While Trump's support for Kennedy's involvement in health-related investigations has sparked discussions, it remains to be seen how this partnership would unfold if Trump secures another term in office.
