Former President Donald Trump's campaign has initiated a GoFundMe campaign to support the victims and families affected by the recent shooting incident at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

During the rally, one attendee tragically lost their life, while two others sustained injuries. The shooter was subsequently neutralized by the Secret Service. As of now, the identities of the victims have not been disclosed.

The GoFundMe initiative, with a target of $1 million in contributions, was publicized by Trump's campaign on various social media platforms. Lynne Patton, a Senior Advisor to Trump, took to her Instagram story to share the donation link and encourage online users to contribute.

The fundraising page was set up by Meredith O’Rourke, the national finance director for Trump's campaign. The page's description states, 'President Donald Trump has authorized this account as a place for donations to the supporters and families wounded or killed in today’s brutal and horrific assassination attempt. All donations will be directed to these proud Americans as they grieve and recover. May God bless and unite our nation.'

Notable contributions have already been made to the cause, with former GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy donating $30,000 and Ivanka Trump along with her husband, Jared Kushner, contributing $10,000.
