Corey Lewandowski, a senior adviser on the Trump-Vance campaign, recently stated that there would be no changes at the top of the team as the fall campaign season kicks off. Lewandowski, along with Susie Wiles and Chris LaCivita, referred to themselves as the 'three amigos' and emphasized their dedication to ensuring Donald Trump can present his vision for America in the upcoming nine weeks.
Regarding the September 10 presidential debate, Lewandowski confirmed Trump's participation under the agreed-upon rules, which include muted microphones for candidates not speaking. Despite Trump's initial suggestion of debating with mics on, Lewandowski reiterated their commitment to the established guidelines.
Lewandowski pointed out that the Harris campaign should adhere to the debate rules, as Kamala Harris was involved in the negotiations during the Biden campaign. He highlighted the consistency in parameters set for both the presidential and vice-presidential debates and expressed disappointment in perceived changes in Harris's stance.
