Trump Attorney Argues Key Individuals Not Testifying In Cohen Case

Former U.S. President Trump hosts a campaign rally, in Rome, Georgia

During the ongoing trial involving former Trump attorney Michael Cohen, Trump attorney Todd Blanche has raised concerns about key individuals who were mentioned in Cohen's testimony but did not testify.

Blanche emphasized the importance of the conversations and interactions that Cohen claimed to have had with individuals such as Dylan Howard, Keith Schiller, and Allen Weisselberg. He pointed out that these interactions were significant in the case.

Blanche noted that Keith Schiller, Dylan Howard, and Allen Weisselberg were not called as witnesses in the trial, despite their alleged involvement in the events discussed during Cohen's testimony.

It is worth mentioning that Allen Weisselberg, the former Chief Financial Officer of the Trump Organization, was sentenced to five months in jail in April on perjury charges. His absence as a witness in the trial has raised questions about the completeness of the testimony provided by Cohen.

The defense's argument regarding the absence of key individuals from the trial adds another layer of complexity to the legal proceedings. As the trial continues, the role of these individuals and the impact of their absence on the case will likely be subjects of further scrutiny.
