Trump Attacks Democrats, Compares Biden Admin To Nazi Germany

Final 2020 U.S. presidential campaign debate in Nashville

Former President Donald Trump made headlines on Saturday for his fiery remarks during a private luncheon held at his Mar-a-Lago club. At the event, attended by hundreds of supporters, Trump referred to Democrats as running a 'Gestapo administration,' drawing parallels to Nazi Germany.

During his roughly 90-minute speech, Trump accused the Biden administration of orchestrating the four criminal indictments he is currently facing. He also criticized special counsel Jack Smith and other prosecutors involved in his legal troubles, using explicit language throughout his address.

Attendees reported that Trump boasted about his recent fundraising success and hinted at potential vice-presidential contenders, claiming that many individuals were eager to join his ticket. The former president even offered attendees the chance to speak at the podium for a hefty fee of $1 million.

Notably, Trump's daughter-in-law and RNC co-chair Lara Trump presented him with a Billboard Music award for a song titled 'Justice for All,' which topped digital sales charts last year. The event also featured a birthday celebration for Texas Rep. Ronny Jackson, one of Trump's former presidential physicians.

Trump took the opportunity to praise former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, who he commuted the prison sentence of in 2020. Blagojevich, who now identifies as a 'Trumpocrat,' expressed his support for the former president.

Throughout the fundraiser, Trump emphasized the importance of election integrity and criticized his former attorney general, William Barr, while hinting at the need for an attorney general with 'courage.' He also lauded RNC chairman Michael Whatley's efforts to combat cheating in future elections.

The event concluded with Trump's remarks on his ongoing campaign against President Biden, highlighting his determination to secure victory in the upcoming political landscape.
