President-elect Donald Trump has announced key appointments for his incoming administration, with Steven Cheung named as the White House communications director and Sergio Gor set to lead the personnel office. Both individuals have been longstanding advisers to Trump since his 2016 campaign.

These appointments are crucial in shaping the new administration's public messaging and internal workforce. Cheung, who spearheaded communications for Trump's recent campaign, is known for his aggressive approach and sharp criticisms of the Republican's opponents. Hailing from Sacramento, California, Cheung has a background in Republican politics and previously worked for the Ultimate Fighting Championship before joining Trump's team.

Gor, on the other hand, founded Winning Team Publishing alongside Donald Trump Jr. The company has published books authored by Trump and his allies. Gor also headed the super PAC Right for America, indicating his experience in political advocacy.

The Presidential Personnel Office, to be overseen by Gor, is expected to play a pivotal role in Trump's efforts to assemble a staff of loyalists within his administration. Trump expressed his confidence in Cheung and Gor, referring to them as trusted advisers, and stated his enthusiasm in welcoming them to the White House.
