You know how Final Destination characters about to meet a gruesome fate might suffer a series of spooky coincidences before meeting their tragic end? Well, it seems like this could be happening to the Liberal Party, which had one of its promo trucks crash into the polling booth ahead of early voting.
Not to be superstitious or anything, but this is truly bad juju.
On Monday, in the beautiful suburb of Quakers Hill, a Liberal Party truck crashed into a community centre on the eve of pre-polling opening for the federal election.
In photos shared to a Blacktown community group on Facebook, the truck can be seen wedged under the entrance of Quakers Hill Community Centre with a brick wall toppled over.

The vehicle sported a federal election banner for Rattan Virk, the Liberal candidate for Greenway. But it was quickly ripped off, for obvious reasons.
A spokesperson for the Liberal party apologised shortly after the incident for any inconvenience the crash has caused.
“Yesterday, a truck delivering materials to Quakers Hill Community Hall dislodged a portico. We sincerely regret any inconvenience this has caused for the local community,” they said, per The Age.
The seat of Greenway is currently held by Minister for Communications Michelle Rowland on a margin of 7.9 per cent.
The Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) confirmed that, following the damage, the polling booth would be closed for voting on Tuesday. It will be assessed in the coming days to see if it can be used this election.
“The AEC is assessing the damage to this facility and will make a decision about whether the facility can be used or will need to be relocated in the coming days,” the AEC told The Daily Telegraph.

I’d be taking down the signage too TBH. (Source: Facebook)
NSW Police also attended the scene on Monday. But, as the crash met the minor traffic crash criteria, police would not be making any further investigation.
Meanwhile, despite this dramatic start over in NSW, early voting has well and truly kicked off across the country this week.
The AEC is expecting roughly half the country to vote before election day on May 3.
Talk about an eventful start though.
