Trousers are out! The 'no pants' trend is dominating the runway and red carpet—but can this look work IRL?

So far, 2023 has offered up a number of statement style moments, from the return of silver fashion to TikTok's 'salted granola' aesthetic, but this 'no pants' trend really takes the cake...

Yes, it seems celebs from Florence Pugh to Kendall Jenner, are ditching their trousers and skirts and rocking what's now been dubbed the 'no pants' look, on and off the red carpet. And while we know this trending term perhaps sounds a little risque, it's actually way more wearable—and dare we say, chic—than you might think.

So, for anyone wanting to try out a barely-there fit, here's everything you need to know about the trend—plus some celeb style inspo, so you can rock it with confidence!

How to rock the 'no pants' look IRL

This trend is perfect for a bold and edgy party look, or a festival fit for that matter, and there are a few ways you can go about pulling it off.

The first is with a sheer dress, skirt, or even trousers—over a bodysuit or matching bra and thong. Alternatively, you can wear an oversized blazer or shirt as a makeshift dress, with heels or loafers and a cute pair of silver huggie hoops...

1. Sheer staples

Sheer pieces are a must for pulling off this look, plus they're so on trend right now!

2. Bodysuits

Bodysuits are great for styling under your sheer dress or skirts, of ever under a oversized top or jackets, for some extra layering!

3. Oversized blazers

Taking inspo from Emily Ratajkowski, a blazer is also another route to pulling of this statement trend...
