Katie Price has claimed her dog Blade was killed on 'purpose' .
The mum-of-five, 44, said she was "numb and shocked" after her beloved German Shepherd tragically lost its life yesterday.
It was reported the guard dog was killed after being struck by a car close to her home.
On her Instagram story, Katie said: "Somebody has killed my dog on purpose as an attack against me. I'm investigating it."
The troubled star then posted again to her Instagram page revealing she had removed her extensions following her ordeal as she spoke of having 'so much s**t thrown at me'.
Sharing a picture of herself with new shoulder length hair, Katie ranted: "Extensions out ready for new transformation. Literally had so much s**t thrown at me and being single now and now dealing with the suspicions my dog had been killed deliberately so being investigated I need a massive change and move in my life."
Many fans flocked to Katie's support after the post, with one saying: You’re stronger than you know angel, sadly, you get challenges coming at you more than you deserve.. stay strong."
Katie first welcomed welcomed Blade into her family in 2019 after being held at gunpoint in South Africa during a carjacking.
Taking to Instagram, she shared the sad news of his death with her followers as she posted a photo of the pair of them together.
She wrote: "Worlds can’t express the lost of my best friend my protector my absolutely everything who had sadly passed away today I have no words to say how I’m feeling but numb and shocked rip Blade."
Katie's latest heartbreak comes just three years after her little French Bulldog Rolo, who she bought for her daughter Princess' 13th birthday, passed away.
The dog tragically suffocated to death after getting stuck under an armchair at Katie's home.
Katie bought Rolo to try and cheer Princess up after her beloved Alsatian Sparkle was killed.
The pedigree pooch was adopted into the Price family in January 2019, but it kept escaping from her West Sussex mansion and running out onto the nearby A24.
Sparkle's half-sister, Bear, also had three near-death experiences in a matter of weeks on the same road and was fortunately found on the dual carriageway by a policeman.
After a run-in with another dog in April 2019, Katie re-homed the £1,000 hound for its own safety, with her rep telling us at the time: "Yes she’s had to give Bear away because he kept running onto the road and he had bitten another dog."
A petition created to ban Katie from owning any more pets was launched in 2020 after Rolo's death.
It has now reached 30,000 signatures with that number still increasing.
