As of this morning, Tropical Storm Beryl has shown a slight decrease in strength as it continues its path into Texas. The storm's wind speed has decreased from 75 mph to 70 mph within the span of an hour.
The tropical storm is currently centered 20 miles west-northwest of Houston, with tropical storm-force winds extending up to 115 miles from its center. Beryl is moving in a north-northeast direction at a speed of 13 mph.
Although Beryl is expected to weaken further as it moves inland, it is anticipated to maintain its tropical storm status at least until Monday night. The storm's impact includes heavy rainfall and the risk of dangerous flash flooding, in addition to its damaging winds.
