TRNSMT organisers have issued tips for fans heading to day three of the festival at Glasgow Green.
The city is set for another scorcher for most of Sunday, with highs of 23C, and tens of thousands of punters are descending on Glasgow Green for the final day of top live music. In light of this, TRNSMT chiefs issued some advice for revellers to ensure they stay safe and have fun.
Top the the agenda from festival officials was reminding attendees that there are water re-fill stations around the park and to also use sun cream. They are also urged to take an empty bottle water to re-fill for free while drink stalls are selling a bottle for £2.50.

Here is the full rundown of tips and advice issued by TRNSMT bosses ahead of the festival's final day at Glasgow Green;
Plan your journey early
Doors open at 12pm and curfew is 11pm, so plan ahead. There are multiple transport providers running services to and from Glasgow including multiple bus operators, the city’s subway network, taxis, and the country’s rail network.
Anyone using public transport is encouraged to check timetables and be aware that while many rail services will be operational, some routes are subject to reduced timetables and last-minute cancellations.
Arrive in plenty time
Arrive in plenty of time before the first act you want to see is due on stage. Set times are available on the TRNSMT app. Stewards will be doing their best to get everyone into the festival as quickly and safely as possible but searches and ticket checks take time so please be patient and listen to the Stewards.
Stay hydrated
The sun is shining, so keep hydrated. Organisers have increased the number of water stations on site and welfare staff are positioned throughout the festival to support anyone who feels unwell. Festival goers are encouraged to bring suncream and a soft water bottle to refill around the venue (metal, glass or hard plastic containers will not be permitted on-site).
Glasgow Live reported that ticket holders were left waiting for over two hours at the barriers for entry on Saturday. Fans claimed they were at a standstill at the barriers for hours beneath the beating sun before staff offered them water.
Many took to social media and demanded refunds for their expensive tickets after missing a number of acts. TRNSMT bosses stressed they were 'grateful for the patience of those waiting'.
A spokesperson told Glasgow Live on Saturday: "There are currently longer than average waiting times for fans entering the festival. Our welfare teams are handing out water to those queuing and we're doing our best to get everyone through security and inside as quickly and safely as possible. We're grateful for the patience of those waiting, and ask anyone who needs assistance to get the attention of the stewards or welfare teams.”
