TRNSMT 2022: A guide to the Lanarkshire bands playing next weekend's festival

With TRNSMT just around the corner, thousands of music fans are making their final preparations for the big event.

Revellers will be excited to see the headliners of Paolo Nutini, The Strokes and Lewis Capaldi perform over the weekend, but there are so many other acts to go and see.

Acts such as Sam Fender, Tom Grennan and Foals are further down the bill, but there are smaller names to keep an eye on as well.

Lanarkshire Live has put together a guide of the acts playing from Lanarkshire, complete with set times, songs to listen out for and what stage they will be playing on.

Connor Fyfe
(Freelance)

Fifteen-year-old Connor Fyfe is a talented singer-songwriter from Bellshill.

Having made a name for himself across Scotland, this will be Connor's first time playing at the festival.

His latest song Should Know Better is already a firm fan favourite and will sound even better in the Glasgow sunshine.

Connor and his band will take to the stage on Sunday, July 10 at 5.10pm on the River Stage .

Rianne Downey

Another name to keep an eye out for is 22-year-old Rianne Downey.

The Bellshill singer has already had a massive 12 months, performing all over the UK and releasing her own music.

Rianne played the festival last year, but will be changing it up this year and performing with a live band.

Her song Devil's Gonna Get You is a huge sing-a-long anthem, so make sure you have learned the words before her set.

She will perform on the Sunday of the festival at 6.25pm on the River Stage .

Saint PHNX
(UGC)

Wishaw brothers Saint PHNX have gone from strength-to-strength in the last year and show no signs of stopping.

From the release of their Happy Place EP to playing across Europe, brothers Stevie and Al will be looking forward to getting back home for TRNSMT.

With huge songs like Happy Place and King , it will be a party atmosphere when they take to the King Tut's Stage .

You can catch the band on Friday afternoon at 5.25pm .

The Roly Mo
This will be the bands first time at the festival. (The Roly Mo)

Cumbernauld punks The Roly Mo will play early on the Friday of the festival.

This will be the young band's first TRNSMT and they will be looking to make a name for themselves.

Their popular song I'll Be Happy When You Die and their new track If You Ever are the ones to look out for with this band.

Catch the boys early on Friday at 1.50pm on the River Stage .
