Triumph Releases 'Factory Custom' Bonneville Bobber, Says Only a Few Will Be Made

The world of custom motorcycles is almost infinite. If you can dream it, you can likely build it.

From Suzuki Hayabusa-swapped everythings, custom choppers, kitted-out sportbikes to emulate race bikes, enduro-spec dirt bikes, and tourers to take on the spine of Africa, there's no limit to what you can turn an ordinary motorcycle into. Yet, it's rare when the customization comes from within the motorcycle company, i.e. the call is coming from within the house.

Yes, you can add a few accessories, and there are a few limited editions across the manufacturers, but few take it as far as Triumph has with the brand's Triumph Factory Custom program and its brand-new 2025 Bonneville Bobber TFC. In short, it looks like someone proper built you a custom motorcycle, but you don't have to worry that they didn't wire the thing properly.

I'm all for that.

Centered around Triumph's Bonneville Bobber 1200, the TFC iteration is one that'll go into hyper limited production, at least if you base it against Triumph's other offerings. Only 750 of these motorcycles will ever be made. That's 750 worldwide, with each receiving "an individually numbered badge on the billet-machined top yoke." But the customization goes well beyond just a limited run and fancy-pants plaque.

According to Triumph, the Bonneville Bobber TFC will also receive a "design scheme developed by Triumph’s world-class paint team," which entails a two-tone paint scheme with "hand-painted" gold textured accents along its tank and side panels. Furthering that air of one-off-ness, the brand states that each and every fuel tank will also feature the artist's signature hidden beneath it. I, personally, probably would've liked my signature atop my work, but that's just me.

The Bonneville Bobber TFC also gets clip-ons, a slimmer front wheel that "contrasts" the wider rear wheel, emphasizing the Bobber's nature. Twin matte black Akrapovic exhausts allow the motorcycle to roar to its full potential, along with a more "aggressive engine map" and throttle response thanks to an additional Sport mode.

Finishing it all up, the TFC has Öhlins suspension front and rear, and Brembo radial monobloc brakes to both get this bobber to turn and stop.

Ahead of its release, Chief Commercial Officer Paul Stroud said, “The Bobber is the bike of choice for many incredible custom builders and we know that more than 70% of our customers in this category personalise their bike with accessories. That’s why our design engineers, inspired by a passion for the global custom scene, have set out to create the most beautiful, exclusive and desirable motorcycle possible. For those customers looking for a motorcycle that is even more special, customised and modified by the best design engineers within Triumph, this Triumph Factory Custom is simply exceptional.”

Triumph says the Bonneville Bobber TFC will become available next March, and can be had for £17,195, which translates to about $22,000 give or take depending on next March's exchange rate. As for the whole package, it's pretty damn inviting, though that price tag—if it remains there for the US market—is slightly steep. But for the discerning customer who loves Triumph and the Bonneville Bobber and wants it more custom, but without the headache of a custom, it looks sick.
