Tristan Thompson has infuriated Khloe Kardashian fans with a cryptic message about 'facing his demons'.
The 30-year-old basketball star is currently dealing with the consequences after cheating on Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Khloe, 37, for a third time.
The NBA star took to his Instagram Stories on Friday to reflect on his actions after he fathered his third child with Maralee Nichols last month.
And Tristan has now revealed that he's finally 'facing his demons' amid the scandal.
"Sometimes you don’t realise your own strength until you face your greatest weakness," Tristan penned.
“Hide from your demons and they’ll slowly destroy your potential. Face them and they can potentially become your greatest asset.”
The sports star recently made headlines after he admitted to fathering a baby boy with Maralee - who is currently suing him for child support.
Tristan's baby son is believed to have been conceived while the athlete was still dating Khloé Kardashian, who is also the proud mum to their 3-year-old daughter, True.
Earlier this month, Tristan issued a grovelling apology to Good American creator Khloe in a gushing post on Instagram.
The NBA player insisted that he had made the biggest mistake of his life, but said that he took full responsibility for his actions.
Tristan insisted that he never meant to hurt Khloe, who he has the 'utmost respect' for.
"Today paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols," Tristan penned at the time.
"I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son.
"I sincerely apologize to everyone I've hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately.
"Khloe, you don't deserve this. You don't deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you."
He continued: "You don't deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you.
"I have the upmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry."
Following his latest cryptic message, fans have flocked to Twitter to slam the sports star.
"Tristan Thompson might just be the most entitled and manipulative man to walk this earth. Poor Khloe," one fumed.
"About time he's facing his demons. He has zero respect for women," another echoed.
Meanwhile a third blasted: "He's simply disgusting."
It comes after Tristan had repeatedly asked for a DNA test to prove he was the father after Maralee's claims in a lawsuit that the pair had sexual intercourse over his 30th birthday weekend last March.
The basketball player admitted that he had sex with the personal trainer, but had denied being the father of her child.
Maralee gave birth to their son on December 1.
The infant is Tristan's third child, with the star also being dad to five-year-old Prince, whom he shares with model Jordan Craig.
