TripAdvisor ranks Edinburgh gardens as one of most beautiful spots in the world

If you're from or have been to Edinburgh, you'll know that Princes Street Gardens are one of the most stunning spots in the city.

With the fresh grassy lawns, the Scott Monument and the Ross Fountain, the spaces in the city centre attract thousands of people in the capital every year.

And it seems it's not just Edinburgh that thinks the gardens are pretty special, with the site being rated as the 14th best gardens in the world, yes, the entire world.

Research conducted by House Fresh scanned thousands of TripAdvisor reviews across the globe, with Edinburgh's pride and joy managing to get in the top 20.

The number one spot in the world was taken by the Gardens by the Bay in Singapore, with the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew, England being the only UK spot to top Princes Street on the charts.
