An Edinburgh village has been named by TripAdvisor as one of the top 10 places to visit in the UK for Spring, 2022.
The popular review website has released a list of different locations around the country that are ideal for a staycation, as well as a guide for international tourists on where to visit.
Named in the top five, South Queensferry was given a top ranking, and managed to beat out all other towns, cities and beauty spots in Scotland.
Mentioned for its incredible outlook and views, the small historic streets have been praised in thousands of TripAdvisor reviews, as well as the vista over the bridges.

Part of the UNESCO World Heritage site, South Queensferry is also home to the likes of Incholm Abbey and Island and Hopetoun House, all of which you can visit.

The area is also popular for fish and chips, with both locals and visitors enjoying salt and sauce by the sea.
The only other Scottish location to make the list was Glasgow, which came in at number 10.
