While people across Scotland have been enjoying the fun of Halloween weekend, it seems some adorable animals were getting in on the act too. A trio of cute snow leopard cubs have been getting into the spirit of this spookiest time of year at a popular Scottish wildlife park by playing with their very own pumpkins.
The six-month cubs, along with their parents, were photographed tucking into their very own spooky treats, designed by the wildlife conservation charity Royal Zoological Society of Scotland’s (RZSS) keepers.
Joining them in the fun at the Highland Wildlife Park, near Kingussie, was one of the park’s Arctic foxes, a female called Sarah, who was also given her favourite snacks which were hidden inside the hollowed out pumpkins.

The two little female cubs and a male were the result of mum Animesh and first-time dad Koshi being paired together at the park in May.
The wildlife charity confirmed that they were named Padme, Maya and Yashin, in tribute to the species’ native home across the Himalayas.
Chosen by two of the wildlife conservation charity’s donors, one of the females has been named Padme meaning lotus flower, and the male Yashin, meaning lightning blot.
After a public vote hosted by long-time RZSS supporters, People’s Postcode Lottery, the third cub was named Maya, the name of Buddha’s mother.
