A trio of Boston Celtics alumni led the French National Team to an 81-68 blowout of the Bosnian and Herzegovinian National Team in EuroBasket play on Tuesday afternoon to help push France to a 3-1 record in Group B EuroBasket play, keeping the Lithuanian National Team’s hopes alive to advance to the next stage in the process.
France was led by former Boston big man Guerschon Yabusele with 15 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, as many steals, and a block, with ex-Celtics shooting guard Evan Fournier chipping in another 14 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 assists to help his national team secure the victory.
Ex-Celtics center Vincent Poirier also added another 9 points and 7 boards to the French National Team off of the bench.

“This is the first day that the crowd is with us, so it’s pretty great,” related France’s Thomas Heurtel after the game. “I think we started the game with a good intensity.”
