'Beautiful' teenager who died after city centre attack named as family pay tribute
A man found fatally injured at an internet café was today named by his devastated family.
Michael Toohey died following an attack at London Road in Liverpool city centre on Saturday, April 16. He was taken to Royal Liverpool Hospital but sadly died.
Detectives are keen to speak to anyone in the area of London Road at around 5.50pm to assist with their murder investigation. A 34-year-old woman from Fazakerley was arrested on Monday on suspicion of assisting an offender and taken into custody for questioning.

Devastated family members and friends have paid tribute to the 18-year-old. Teresa Toohey said: "RIP my beautiful nephew love you with all my heart. I can’t believe it just left you last week always remember your smiling face."

Family stand by jailed rapist who 'persistently' ignored police warnings
A convicted rapist who refused to give police his address after he was released from prison is back behind bars.
Jamie Hart was required to inform police where he was living as part of the notification requirements of the Sex Offenders Register. But the 36-year-old "persistently and deliberately ignored" the procedure and warnings from police.
Liverpool Crown Court heard Hart was convicted of rape in November 2013 and jailed for seven and a half years. He was also told to sign on the Sex Offenders Register for life.

Inspirational Liverpool FC fan who led fight against cruel disease dies aged 39
An inspirational Motor Neurone Disease campaigner has died following a brave battle with the disease.
Chris Rimmer, 39, co-founded the Darby Rimmer MND foundation with his friend and former Liverpool FC defender Stephen Darby. Chris was a lifelong LFC fan, ex-soldier and 'passionate' campaigner for awareness of the disease that will be continued through the foundation.
The Darby Rimmer MND foundation released a statement on Twitter this morning. They said: "It is with deep, deep sadness we bring you the devastating news that on Monday 18th April, our Co-Founder @chrisrimmerMND sadly passed away after a brave battle with motor neurone disease."
